Gift for the boys using the Fry Box Die

I love this little "Fry Box" die from Stampin' Up! it's just way toooooo cute!

Here I dressed it to give as a masculine gift and could be filled with a little cello bag full of treats.

I used Soft Suede and Lost Lagoon inks and added a ribbon knot in co-ordinating Lost Lagoon, I love that we can do this!

The patterned paper liner is from the little paper stack "Trim the Tree"

The patterned paper liner is from the little paper stack "Trim the Tree"

The "Yummy for your Tummy" greeting is from a stamp set called "Day of Celebration" and it was cut using a Framelit die from the Chalk Talk set.

I stamped the image twice in both colours, then cut out the "for your" banner and layered it above the Soft Suede layer.

It is so easy for us to create pretty girly things all the time but good to take time out and challenge ourselves a little for those men in our lives!

So don't forget about the gorgeous new items in the Autumn/Winter Supplement

Roomie Gifts for Convention

Each year when we go to Convention, we agree to make "Roomie Gifts", usually for the person you are sharing with but as there were only 6 of us we decided it would be nice to make something for each one of us.

So here is my gift, a bag charm.

I stamped onto wooden painted hearts with Black Stazon Ink using the Postage Due and Gorgeous Grunge Stamps

I stamped Petite Petals flowers on to the Typeset Designer Paper, covered with Crystal effects and allowed to dry overnight.  Once dry I punched them out with the Petite Petals Punch then added a Rhinestone to the centre and attached to the heart.

I purchased the Monograms and Droplets from my daughter Sophie who is a South Hill Designs Artist, then attached them to the heart adding a Silver 1/8th Bow and jump rings and a lobster clasp for attaching to it's final destination!

I love how we can use Stampin' Up! products for so many different creations, not just cards but for gifts and home décor too.  The possibilities really are endless!

All wrapped up!

I love that we have "wrapping paper" in the A/W Catalogue, you can do a multitude of things with it, apart from packaging gifts.  The reverse is a lovely plain kraft colour which can be stamped on!

So I had a gift I needed to give and here I used the paper to wrap it, then wrapped some of the gorgeous Chevron Ribbon around tying in a knot.  The paper comes in two different designs, this one and a stripy one, I love them both!

For the tag I punched two pieces in Pink Pirouette and Kraft cardstock using the Tag Topper Punch, then used the Confetti Stars punch to create a pretty border on the craft one.

I used my "Amazing Birthday" stamps for the greeting, inking up with my Marker Pens for a multi coloured image, then used the Decorative Label punch to cut it out.

I pulled off individual pieces from a strip of the Burlap Ribbon to tie my tag to the parcel then added a couple of Rhinestones for a little bit of bling!

I love giving gifts and part of the fun is creating the perfect packaging and Stampin' Up! have made that so much easier for me!

Convention 2014 in Brussels

So I am finally feeling that I can breathe a little now, the run up to Convention was pretty hectic and the return was pretty much the same, so I can now find some time to share some pictures with you!

I had the most amazing time in Brussels, it was full of so much fun, laughter, inspiration and sharing.

We arrived in Brussels on the Wednesday, Convention begins on the Thursday evening with the Silver 2 Reception so we had a little time to explore and relax beforehand, which was lovely.  We were very lucky with the weather and were able to eat outside most of the time!

Our hotel was lovely, situated perfectly for easy access to the Convention Centre, resturants and shops

On the Thursday evening I was invited to attend the Silver 2 Reception which is is a special event held for those with Silver 2 or above Titles.  We were presented with a beautiful gift to take away with us and also we had a meal and a presentation too.  Shelli and Sterling were there to chat with us which is lovely.  We get to sign in for Convetion, collect our Convention bags and pin badges too!

Friday morning is when everything really kicks off, lots of on stage presentations, including one that I presented myself!!

There are classes we can attend and an area we get to be inspired by other Demonstrators and lots of boards filled with cards and projects to enjoy.

We get to make and take too!

We had something new this year, for those who were Silver 2 or above or receiving an award, there was a VIP lounge where you could sit and relax, enjoy light refreshments and just chill for a while!

We have lots of Prize Patrols, Julie and Caroline were both winners!

Here we are waiting for a class to begin

Friday night is Awards Night where Stampin' Up! recognise everyone for their achievements.

This year I was 4th in the UK for Annual Sales and I walked across the stage several times for other achievements.  I have to thank my amazing customers for helping me to achieve this, without you all it isn't possible.  I know you love the product as much as I do and I love spending time sharing it all with you, it's what Stampin' Up! is all about for me, I've made so many wonderful friends and watched friendships grow through the classes I offer.

Jules too this sefie whilst we were all on stage!

The Awards Night was followed by a fab Party with a live group playing music to dance to and other fun things going on including delicious sweet deserts and fun photo opportunities.

After the celebrations we went back to our room to stamp, this year not in our PJ's!!  We shared our swaps with each other and snacked whist we created!

Saturday was funpacked, full of lots of inspiring Presentations, lots of goodie giveaways, some sneak peaks and before we knew it Convention was drawing to an end, and although this is always sad, we reflect on what an amazing time we have had and are already looking forward to next year!

On Sunday we spent the morning at leisure, shopping and stopping for Hot Chocolate at every opportunity!

I am already looking forward to next year's Convention and if you think you'd like to join me on this amazing journey with Stampin' Up!, just get in touch via phone or email and we can have an informal chat about joining my team and being a Demonstrator.

Are you ready for some more great weekly deals?

White Christmas

Brrrrr, it's getting chilly around here, but hey, I am thankful for the gorgeous weather we have had of late!

So a Christmas card for you today, a sweet and simple one too!

I used two new stamps here, White Christmas and Endless Wishes

I stamped the tree stamp from "White Christmas" using Stazon Black in onto Coastal Cabana cardstock, then snow from the same set using White Craft ink, not so easy to see in this picture.

I used the White Chalk marker pen to add some snow to the ground too!

I adore the "Endless Wishes" stamp set as it consists of not only lots of lovely greetings stamps but also some beautiful snowflake images.  This is a Photopolymer set which makes it sooooo easy to line up your words.

Here I used some of the 1/8" silver ribbon to tie around my greeting banner and then punched a glimmer star for some texture.

I loved this card so much I decided to use it as a swap for a recent training event, I produced 20 cards in no time at all, both of these stamps are so easy to use and the combinations of images make them very versatile sets and at £13.95 each they are amazing value.
